David Schwimmer, renowned for his portrayal of Ross Geller in the iconic sitcom Friends, was photographed arriving at his New York City apartment. This appearance comes just a day after the shocking death of his fellow Friends co-star, Matthew Perry.
Matthew, best recognized for his role as Chandler Bing, was discovered unresponsive in his hot tub at his residence in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles on Saturday. First responders were alerted by his assistant, yet despite their efforts, the 54-year-old actor was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dressed in a casual ensemble, the 56-year-old Schwimmer was seen donning a white facemask, a navy and white baseball cap, a navy hoodie beneath a black jacket, dark blue jeans, and navy and white trainers. Later, he was captured leaving his apartment with his former wife, Zoë Buckman. While no public tributes have been shared by the Friends cast following Matthew’s passing, sources indicate that they are working on a collective statement to honour their late colleague.
According to sources, David, along with Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow, is deeply affected by the loss of their close friend, with one source expressing that they feel as if they have “lost a brother.”
