King Paluta is a Ghanaian musician from the Ashanti region. He was a rapper for years and later transitioned to become a singer when the rapping aspect of his career was not going well as he was expecting. In the 90s through to the 2000s, rapping was the hot genre in Ghana. Talk about the lives of Reggie Rackstone, Terry Bonchaka, VIP, Buk Bak, Obrafour, Tic Tac, Tiny, Kwaw Kese, Lord Kenya, and more. Rapping was indeed a significant phenomenon during that era. Now, the new era comes with a different taste for music by Ghanaians and the rest of the world at large. And, as the old saying perfectly puts it, “Music is dynamic.” The dynamicity of music has brought it to a new level, giving birth to a new genre known as Afrobeat. Young or old, boy or girl, it has become clear that everyone loves Afrobeat, which is a singing nature.
